It's official: Vincent Avila and Joanna Farias will be joining us as our newest and youngest Board members! As artworxLA Board Representatives, these new appointees are part of the pipeline that connects our Board to the current stories faced by students in LA's continuation high school educational system. Highlighted in the National Guild's Quarterly newsletter Guild Notes, artworxLA believes in integrating youth voice at all levels of our program. Each student selected to be an artworxLA Board Representative is chosen based on their commitment to our program and for their interest in becoming leaders in their own communities. artworxLA welcomes Vincent and Joanna to the Board!
