Zines for Justice with Chynna

Make a mini zine in support of families separated at the border, using powerful collage techniques inspired by artist Lari Pittman.

How might you feel if you were separated from your family?
What images and words might encourage you to be strong and feel empowered? Why are families being separated, and why are there borders between them? What does your family mean to you?

Start by using the folding instructions to make your mini zine template. Cut out shapes and imagery you would find to be empowering and positive for families at the border.
Add graphic design elements with screenprinted shapes to create a collage. Write a note to someone separated from their family.
