U.S. Department of Education Visits artworxLA

Nadya Dabby, Assistant Deputy Secretary for Innovation and Improvement at the US Department of Education, visited artworxLA as part of her LA tour of Promise Zone partners.  Our student Stella toured Nadya and visitors from the Mayor’s office through our arts academy, highlighting our innovative approach to re- engage high risk students in their education through the arts.
