Meet our Summer Interns!

Estefanía Gallo-Gonzalez is our 2018 Getty Multicultural Undergraduate Intern, she will graduate in 2019 from Pitzer College with a degree in Gender and Feminist Studies and Music. With a passion for music and visual arts, Estefanía is also a DJ and plans to become an educator grounded in a philosophy of healing through the arts. This summer, she will work on important projects that help us close out the previous year and prepare for next year: evaluation, research, summer trainings, and direct support for Program staff and Teaching Artists.

Tania Ordoñez is a Fine Art major with a minor in Psychology at Pasadena City College and she will be matriculating to Cal State LA. in the Fall of 2018 to complete her BFA in Arts Education. She was awarded by Los Angeles County Arts Commission’s Summer 2018 Internship as artworxLA's Development and Fundraising intern and will be working on grant proposals, preparing for our annual fundraising campaign, and coordinating two events through LACAC. She's interested in pursuing a career in arts education and nonprofit work and looks forward to working with fellow Peer Group Area LACAC Interns. 

Carolyn Archaga is a Graphic Design major at Santa Monica College, heading to Cal State Long Beach in the Fall of 2018. As artworxLA's Design and Communications intern this summer, she will be working on documentation, content curation, and updating print and web materials. She's passionate about creative direction as a career path, with a deep interest in TV/film, screenwriting, and cinematography.
