ALFREDO

Alfredo Alvarado graduated from Frida Kahlo High School in 2013, and is now a graphic design student at Los Angeles City College. He was the Summer 2015 Getty Multicultural Intern responsible for designing artworxLA Training Handbook used by its teaching artists. An arts advocate and activist, his recent activities include speaking about reinventing high school for Project XQ and on the American Dream for the Re:Dream project through PBS. Beyond completing multiple artworxLA Advanced Programs residencies and scholarships, Alfredo has completed apprenticeships with creative professionals in various projects, including product development and murals.
