Lorraine

Lorraine Alexander graduated from Culver Park HS in 2018. Through artworxLA, Lorraine has exhibited her art at Los Angeles Public Library, the Los Angeles Theatre, and the Autry Museum of the American West. Inspired by her experiences, Lorraine challenged her skills as an illustrator by enrolling in artworxLA’s Visual Arts residency at ArtCenter College. Lorraine’s persistence to develop her drawing techniques has led to a  fully funded scholarship to ArtCenter College’s Teen Summer 2018 Program. In January 2019, Lorraine applied and received a scholarship for ArtCenter At Night for the Spring. In this program, she explored producing comic book illustrations and graphic novels.
