“We feed ourselves on a steady diet of stories.  We need them like we need physical nourishment – we create our lives and make our choices based on the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves.  We choose our enemies and our friends based on stories we believe about them.  And we raise up our heads in pride and determination because of stories we want to live out.  As an artist, a healer, and a human being, stories are at the heart of all the things that I do.”  

Stephen is a self-taught visual artist, an art historian, curator, print maker, author, jewelry maker, Reiki Master, and intuitive healer based in Los Angeles, CA.  He started with artworxLA (formerly the Heart Project) in 2008.
