On 50th Anniversary Of East LA Walkouts, Students Find Inspiration To Make Their Voices Heard Through Art

 

Inspired by the historical 1968 walkouts demanding education equality, Garfield High School students attended a panel with former student activists, and displayed their own artwork commemorating the protests through a partnership with artworxLA.
