For our 27th Annual Evening of Art, we connected a powerful list of community leaders, industry professionals, and world-renowned organizations to support the students we serve. Held under the luminescent dome of the Taglyan Cultural Complex, our gala featured a poem by artworxLA Board Member and Chair of Scripps College’s Board Trustees Lynne E. Thompson, followed by the premiere of our 2019 Little Docs films produced by Erica Eng, Andrew Gallo, and Ze’ev Waismann. We capped the evening by announcing artworxLA's 2019 scholarship recipients students. Each student will further their artistic practice by joining art intensive programs and internships across Los Angeles.

We thank each guest who came to support us during our 27th gala. With the help of our supporters and our honorees, Kristin Sakoda and Michael Sugar, we were able to raise money that goes directly to delivering our program in 33 sites throughout LA County.
