Change Has Started!

On April 13th, artworxLA students joined youth from across Los Angeles for the second-ever Stories + Art collaborative showcase titled Change Starts with Us. Supported by L.A. Times High School Insider, PBS SoCal, and artworxLA, this event brought together high school students from all across Los Angeles to explore their place in the evolving American landscape through writing and art, with the goal of amplifying diverse student perspectives on major community issues. Held at the Festival of Books at USC, this event uplifted and celebrated the stories of trailblazing young people through written, visual, and performance art.
