Gieneyra

In March 2017 Gieneyra took part in Advanced Programs residencies in Music Production, Fashion Design, and  Filmmaking. Passionate about visual storytelling through entertainment and animation, she completed intensive programs with The Actors Gang and Ryman Arts. In 2018, she received a summer scholarship through level 3 to study architecture at UCLA and illustration at Idyllwild Arts. Gieneyra’s participation in after-school  music workshops with Beats by Girls led to her participation in the 61st Annual Grammy Awards where she met and joined Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys for an on-stage appearance. In Spring 2019, she joined LA Times High School Insider to take part in their cross-sector high school collaboration program aimed at providing students a platform to share their ideas about changing their community. Gieneyra is looking forward to enrolling at ArtCenter College of Design to study animation.
