Raúl Flores (he/him) is currently the Interim Executive Director after 15 years of service at artworxLA. Raúl has over 20 years of experience in arts education and community engagement and previously served in teen, school, library, and outreach programs at MOCA and LACMA. Raúl is dedicated to uplifting students and communities through authentic dialogue with cultural institutions, and he has forged partnerships with schools, museums, creative businesses, cultural and civic institutions to identify the intersections between youth voice and relevant content. He is humbled by cross-sector collaboration with multiple organizations through artworxLA’s expanded efforts into arts intensive academies, workforce development, and youth justice programming.
